juz watch the youtube clip on Brits in Singapore mocking this trishaw uncle.. i certainly didnt agree with wat the 3 guys have done.. its unfair for the old man to be riding the trishaw with 3 man on it! i believe it was a total of more than 200kg.. and they are complaining and mocking him as being slow..? i mean you gotta try doing that at 70 and see how fast can you go.. furthermore they refuse to pay! so im stating my stand very clearly that i do not approve of what they did.. furthermore posting to youtube.. what were they thinking?!
but then again.. after reading the comments posted.. im thinking that Singaporeans.. hmm... lets not steorotype.. but most of those who posted comments are subjective.. im glad many share the same view as mi not approving of what they have done... but their comments are some what pin pointed to the 3 guys's country origin.. i mean the country did not ask them to do it.. its the 3 guys' fault rite? so why involve the country and create an uproar over "angmoh vs asians"?
there are people here who did more than what the 3 guy have done.. abusing elderly parents.. youngersters stealing their parents money for drugs/cigaratte... people stealing from elderly begging by the streets.. that did not cause more of a commotion than this when it shld have! if a commotion did come up.. are we gonna do the same thing and start scolding singaporeans who have done it with respect to our country? if not.. why shld there be arguments made with respect to skin colours?
the 3 guys have realli brought shame upon themselves... but people who are commenting.. can we start to be more objective and less subjective?
